Let’s run it back. Watches were niche. You probably knew someone into them, but it was pretty rare. Online shops were limited, and the big brands reigned supreme. Forums existed and it was a tight knit community, yeah as the years went on they grew, but mainstream? Never.
Now? They’re everywhere, your favourite rapper, favourite celeb, shit even your next door neighbour has probably got a pretty sweet watch. You can’t leave the house without seeing a Moonswatch most days. That’s the point, that’s what Cultixs is about.
Watches aren’t a niche anymore, they’re mainstream. But for some reason, the way we talk about them is still the same. We want to liven it up a bit.
We’re going to serve up high quality content across the board, but the one thing we want to tie it all together is how culture cuts through all of it. Like it or not, watches are part of the culture now, and they’ve never been so popular.
If you’ve already read about us, you’ll know that we don’t care how you got here.
Saw Tyler in a Cartier? Sweet.
Saw the Turtle in Apocalypse now decades back? Perfect.
What matters is you’re here, you’re one of us. It’s not about price or pedigree, it’s about the vibe, what your watch says about you. Whether you like divers or diamond encrusted Day-Dates, it’s all good with us.
No gatekeeping, no ego, no elitism.
That’s what Cultixs is about.
