“My mama always said, ‘You can tell a lot about a person by their shoes watch.”

It’s not there to tell the time, let’s be honest. Sure you might glance down, but in the age of smart watches what’s the excuse? It’s because they’re an extension of ourself, our vibe, on show for everyone to see. No one has more freedom of expression than celebrities. From sports stars to musicians to actors, they know they’ve got to look sharp (the money doesn’t hurt this).
Let’s take a look at some of our top picks from the past couple of weeks. Begin.

Kobbie Mainoo

Kobbie knew what he was doing here.
The young England midfielder rolled in to Wimbledon with that rose gold Day-Date on, that’s a watch you can’t look bad wearing. The kid knows ball.
From Tony Soprano to Lyndon B. Johnson, the Day-Date is an undisputed icon in the watch game. Sometimes called the presidential and it’s not surprising, this thing’s as lofty as it gets.
Sometimes sportsmen and women get called out for their expensive watches and jewellry, but how could you do that to Kobbie?
Proof that looking good is feeling good.
Roger Federer

This is it.
Retired after a career most pro’s could only dream of. The cream of the crop. And to top it off? The guy’s an ambassador for the crown themselves.
Listen, we know some people don’t like them. But you can’t deny they make a great watch. Now, going back on that slightly, Roger here is wearing the white dial Land-dweller. Probably one of Rolex’s more controversial designs, but he pulls it off with the same class he had on the court.
Top it off with a primo double breasted navy suit and it’s exactly what I’d imagine he’d wear on his return to his previous stomping grounds.
The king is retired, long live the king.
Central Cee

Where do we even begin.
Cench has had one of the biggest up and ups in recent history. Collabs with multiple big hitters in the good old US of A has cemented him as someone to take note of.
And when he rocked up to the Met gala in the two piece black and white number (with cane), it was all business. Taking a peep out his sleeve is a white ceramic Richard Mille 30-01.
RM might not be the most popular of brands, but every brand is gonna struggle for that when the price to play is so high. It’s not the first time he’s had one of these strapped on his arm, it’s defintiely not going to be the last.
Suited and booted, band for band.
